Are you participating in a race this year? Why not turn it into a fundraiser for NVTRP? All you have to do is sign up for a race you are interested in, then ask family and friends to sponsor you by making a donation to NVTRP. Your race could be a 5k run, a half marathon, a triathlon, or any other event you are participating in.
We are asking a few of our key partners to rally their friends, family, and networks to support our work. By becoming a fundraiser for NVTRP, you will help more therapeutic riders, and you'll help your friends feel good about doing good.
It's important to remember that riders only pay about 50% of the cost of a riding lesson, and the rest of the money comes from fundraising. If you wonder why fundraising is important or how you can convince your friends and family to donate, consider the following quote from Carolyn, a young adult rider at NVTRP:
"You should donate to NVTRP because they are helping so many riders who are just like me. They are giving me a place where I can be myself and not get judged for anything that I do. NVTRP also has the most sweet and caring and kind horses, volunteers, instructors and riders and all of us riders become really good friends! NVTRP is one big happy family and we all care about each other a lot and we all become really great friends and it's also a no judge zone which I love. NVTRP is the best riding center around. Come out and visit and once you experience the NVTRP family you will want to join in on all the fun we have together..."
